Rocky Mount is right outside the City of Johnson City and was the capital of the area for a few years in the late eighteenth century. Visit the building that currently resides on the historic site near Johnson City, TN. See many of the artifacts and documents of the Southwest Territory as they are on full display. Much of what is on display dates back to the 1790s when the governor was living in the building.
