See the many period furniture pieces and other items inside the house. Many of these were owned by Nicholas Gotten, a blacksmith who served in the Civil War and later became a miller. The museum is operated by the local historic society. It has been fully restored with many original artifacts and is available for the public to see during the first and third Sundays of the month during the afternoon hours.
