Mount Evil might sound like an intimidating place in Cleveland, TN but it is one of the most attractive spaces to visit in the region. The mountain has an elevation of around 1,000 feet. Climb up to the summit to get a beautiful view of the City of Cleveland or to simply prepare for more advanced climbs up other mountains around Tennessee.

Travel north off of I-75 from downtown Cleveland, Tennessee and then head past the Candies Creek park to enjoy the surroundings of Mount Evil. Watch how the creek is formed by the Hiwassee River as you are up on the summit. The crisp air from the top makes for a relaxing place to visit.

Enjoy a climb up one of the various peaks around the mountain. Much of the mountain is heavily adorned by various beautiful native trees and plants. The landscape has been predominantly untouched over the years as its natural beauty continues to stand out.

Be sure to bring your snowshoes when climbing up the mountain during the winter season. Mount Evil is known to collect snow quite well. This makes for a great challenge as you look to climb up a surface in the winter.
