Dunbar Cave State Park
Go through the extensive series of caves at the Dunbar Cave State Park in Clarksville, TN. The park is open throughout the year while the cave is open from May to August. Go between the three arches that mark the opening of the cave and travel around the vast limestock surroundings. The caves around the City of Clarksville have developed for thousands of years into the beautiful shapes they feature now.
Find various nests and habitats where bats can be found around the cave. Many of these are located near the top parts of the caves.
Spot the sinkholes and natural springs inside the caves. Look around some of the spaces where prehistoric people had once lived in. Studies estimate that people had been living in the area as early as 10,000 BC. The nearby museum displays some of the oldest artifacts to have been found in the region.
